Fleeces for sale

Each year we have a small number of excellent quality, fine, coloured (grey katmoget) fleeces with fabulous crimp, softness, strength and of a goold staple length. We get all our sheep's fleeces tested in Texas each Spring to determine length, crimp fineness, strength, uniformity and soft handle before giving them all a good skirting, picking out and rolling prior to sale.

Desired by hand spinners and crafter, however we also sell our fleeces to knitters who send our fleeces themselves off to a number of local mills for processing, We only sell fleeces from gimmers ( 1 year old ewes) wethers (castrated males) and the best of any unbred females we retain.

Fleeces are available from June onwards each year and will be listed here, individually, when available.
